Do you remember all those stories you grew up with – fairy tales and movies? So many of them ended with either a kiss or a wedding. It was the pinnacle moment, and it must have resonated with us, because we watched in our millions.

I only just realised – that’s exactly how the Bible ends too – with a wedding. The final book of the Bible tells us how the universe will end; with the wedding super of the Lamb. When God’s Son marries the redeemed.
Now I want to know; do all those other stories end with a wedding because that’s how humanity’s story will end, or is the Bible also stuck in this cliché?
It’s the first. The universe’s final hoorah, or eternal hoorah, is a wedding feast. Are you coming to the wedding super of the lamb?
