Life

The Second Law of Thermodynamics says that from the initial burst of energy in creation – the big bang, when God spoke everything into existence, everything is now decaying, dissipating, and heading to a cold equilibrium.

This is scientific language for death. When there is no more energy in the universe, it’s the end.

The only thing working against this dissipation of energy is life. Life. This thing we struggle to define, or even know where it comes from. Life adds energy, passion, heat and hope to a decaying universe.

Where does ‘life’ come from? Biologically, we kinda know. But Scripture says life comes when God speaks or breathes His Word over things. God’s word brings life.

Do you need to get some of this life, into your life?
