Science is what?

Have you seen those videos that say physics or science is “amazing” as they show a remarkable thing from the natural world. I’m not anti-science at all, but there is something wrong here.

There is no such object or being called ‘physics’ or ‘science’ that invents rules, does things, or controls the world.  Science is a human discipline; a particular way to look at the world, to methodically study and learn about it, that has born wonderful fruit.

But it doesn’t actually exist. It is a human construct to help us navigate our world. So to give praise to science, or physics – a discipline – is very unscientific.

Aren’t we really saying; the world we live in is amazing. The laws of the universe, mind-blowing. Creation, is a testament to its Creator?
