Are you a ‘swing for the grandstand’ kind of person?

That’s a person who puts in maximum effort whenever they do anything. That’s how I started life, and I’ve still got a bit of it in me. If I did something, I did it wholeheartedly, or not at all.
That’s something I realised about myself. I was an ‘all or nothing’ kind of person and it was usually me wanting to do it my way or I’d take my bat and ball and go home!
I’ve learnt, it’s OK to swing for the grandstand! We need high achievers like that.
I’ve also learnt to block – you can’t score runs if you’re out.
I’ve learnt when to grab a quick single – that can be more infuriating to a bowler than a boundary, and I’ve realises that without a team there’s really no point.
