The shortlist for the SparkLit Australian Christian Book of the Year includes a book examining the role of religion in Australia, a biography of Christian scholar Leon Morris, and a “spiritual handbook” for survivors of sexual abuse.
The award, which will be announced at a special awards ceremony on 18th August, was won last year by Dr Michael Gladwin for his book, Captains of the Soul: A history of Australian Army chaplains.
